Junior/Young Rider International Shows are currently categorised as follows:-
CSIJ-A/B/C
Shows for Juniors. A person may compete as a Junior from the beginning of the calendar year in which he reaches the age of 14 until the end of the year in which he reaches the age of 18. Riders compete on an individual basis, categorised according to the level of prize money and height of fences - Category C offering the lowest prize money and smallest fences and a Category A show will offer higher prize money and higher fences.
CSIOJ
As above but this show holds an official Nations Cup Team competition.
CSIYR-A/B/C
Shows for Young Riders. A Person may compete as a Young Rider from the beginning of the calendar year in which he reaches the age of 16 until the end of the calendar year in which he reaches the age of 21. Riders compete on an individual basis, categorised according to the level of prize money and height of fences - Category C offering the lowest prize money and smallest fences and a Category A show will offer higher prize money and higher fences.
